This is a Par 71 long 6,101 meters that covers an area of ​​120 hectares, fitting perfectly to the rolling hills of Siena. The Tuscan morphology is a typical example of Inland Links, similar to the Scottish Highlands with its Rough waving in the wind. The field is embellished by picturesque lakes and the majestic Club House, from which you can enjoy an exclusive view of all 18 holes and, on the backgrounds, the towers of Siena. The breathtaking views of Sienese countryside and the incredible Trent Jones skills make every hole of this golf course an unforgettable experience.


For those who prefer to visit the Sienese countryside, it is possible to take advantage of the numerous trekking routes, excursions, mountain bike tours or horseback rides: our staff will do everything to help you organize your days.

The Relais "Le Macine di Stigliano" is located in the Val di Merse, in the nature of the Sienese territory. Within few minutes drive you can find all the beautiful valleys of Tuscany: you can choose to visit Val d'Elsa and travel the Francigena, the ancient road along which for centuries pilgrims have passed to reach Rome, the Eternal City. During your wanderings you’ll discover all the medieval villages of the area, such as Colle Val d'Elsa, Monteriggioni, Volterra and San Gimignano, famous for its towers.

Then you’ll find the Chianti, its vineyards’ orderer rows, precise as lines written on a book page, and you’ll taste the greatest wines of the Tuscan tradition in the many cellars of the region.

Or you can visit the Val D'Orcia, with its beautiful views made of rolling hills decorated by iconic cypress trees, the "ideal city" of Pienza, unique for the splendor of its Renaissance architecture, and the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni.

Food enthusiasts can easily get to San Giovanni d'Asso, homeland to the “Tartufo Bianco delle Crete Senesi”, one of the finest and most expensive truffles in Italy.
